And as much as I would like today to be as ominous as it obviously should be, it wasn't.
Except for the dread we felt to look in our fishtank after deserting them for an entire weekend to find them...
exceptionally healthy.
I don't think I'm making sense right now.
I went to Clear Lake this weekend.
And did more high school things than I should have.
Oh the lovely Texas homecomings. Oversized mums, tacky school gyms, department store dresses galore. A blast from the past here are some homecoming's from the joyous high school days.
I can't find my freshman year, and won't look TOO hard, but I'm sure I looked silly.

Senior Year! This homecoming was our last and we made it worthwhile :) Dress: BCBG, Age:17, Makeup done at MAC. Goodbye Homecoming, it's been... extremely high school. |
But the CL will always be home.
What homecoming means now is completely different than in high school.
Upon my homecoming, I am relieved, surrounded by family, engulfed in familiarity and serenity.
The best thing is, there aren't limits to homecomings in college! I can go as much as I want, without having to get hair did, nails did, everything did.
But I won't because home is nice, but college is rad.
But I will contradict myself for a second, because I just got back to college. I left a little sooner than I would've liked so it's kind of an incomplete feeling. Hence,
I miss my family, I don't want to be in San Antonio right now. dfjadbf;kadvnadfbijk
But life goes on.
Oh Sunday nights, I pity thee, useless ploy.
Doomed to rarely exceed any expectations of joy.(Except for the kids upstairs are TRASHED.. what is their schedule I wonder?)
